EO NY Family Day with the Ferry Hawks

Come out with friends and family for EO NY Family eve with the Staten Island Ferry Hawks. Your very own minor MLB American League team! A game at the FerryHawk’s playground is not your traditional baseball experience! Overlooking NY harbor and downtown Manhattan, A FerryHawk game is part circus and part festival, all while a baseball game is played!

Our chapter will be meeting up at 4:15 to catch the 4:30 Ferry
together out of Battery Park. The stadium is right on the water next
to the ferry terminal on Staten Island.

The gates open at 5:30. Everyone who arrives then will be brought on the field for a group picture.

6:30 is game time! A full firework display sets off at 9:15 following the game. Expect to catch the 10 or 10:30 ferry back unless we go into extra innings.

Tickets are $14.20 through this link for our dedicated Field Level section, and at checkout there is an option to add discounted meal vouchers that include a choice of a Nathan’s hot dog or chicken tenders, chips, and a soft drink or bottled water! If these discounted food options do not suit you, there will be other local vendors at the ball park from some of the best restaurants on Staten Island offering burgers, wings, pizza, burrito bowls, empanadas and more. As expected at a ballpark, the cash bar will be flowing. Everyone will also get a complimentary FerryHawks rally towel!

If you would like to drive (please arrive at 5:30 for the photo) you can park in the Empire Outlet Parking garage across from the stadium on Wall Street. People coming from Manhattan can take the Staten Island Ferry – if you miss our meet up catch the next ferry.

Bring the kids, grandparents, dates, partners, and your kid’s best friend. A Ferry Hawk game is like old time baseball where everyone is close to the action, there’s constant entertainment, the players are right there, and there are plenty of opportunities to interact and catch balls (kids bring a glove!).

Lets have a big party at the ball park. Fun for everyone. This is one of those events we will be talking about for years to come!
