The EONJ 2024 Adventure Hike will take you on the scenic Pochuck Boardwalk, continuing on the Appalachian Trail to the Stairway To Heaven with views at Pinwheel Vista. We will park in the lot at the trailhead for Stairway to Heaven, carpool over to Pochuck boardwalk (limited parking). Our hike begins on the flat and easy boardwalk, continues over a suspension bridge and through fields where it comes out by the Stairway to Heaven parking where we started (~2.2mi). From there we continue up the short 1.3 mile but increasingly steep and rocky climb to the top with scenic views as the payoff. From there we do the 1.3 mi hike back down to the cars. About 4.8mi in total. Those not up for the STH climb can opt to do just the first part. We the pick up our shuttle cars and head to a TBD spot for lunch & drinks and stories and exchange pics of our hike.
